Dr. Alexander Wright is a licensed clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who specializes in the treatment and effective management of ADHD, anxiety, and mood disorders in the child and adolescent populations.  


Dr. Wright also specializes in the diagnostic assessment of Learning Disabilities such as Dyslexia, neurobehavioral disorders such as ADHD, and Executive Functioning Disorders in child and adolescent populations.  Additionally, Dr. Wright has taken a special interest in the assessment and treatment/program development for gifted child and adolescent individuals.  

In addition to his clinical expertise, he has practical and in-depth working knowledge of the special education laws, processes, and procedures for New Jersey. This experience helps greatly in his work with children and families in an effort to determine and recommend services for children with special needs and/or children in need of special education services, accommodations, and/or modifications. 


Dr. Wright has nine years experience practicing as a school psychologist at the elementary, middle, and secondary levels of education.  For the past six years, he has thrived in clinical practice treating child, adolescent, and young adult individuals.


​Dr. Wright has achieved two Masters degrees in Theoretical Psychology and School Psychology and a Doctorate in School and Child Psychology. He has also pursued additional training and experience in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy for the treatment of anxiety and mood disorders in the adolescent population at the Ellis Institute in Manhattan
. Additionally, he has received extensive training in assessment and is published for his research in the assessment of giftedness in child and adolescent populations.
